Bennett is really starting to "talk." He'll try to repeat just about anything you say, most of it just sounding like jibberish, but always with the correct inflection.

I took a video of him yesterday saying some of his new words and phrases. When I was getting ready to post it, I played the video to make sure it was the one I wanted. Bennett heard it and thought it was just me talking to him, so he started saying all the words after I'd say them on the video.

And of course as soon as I got the camera out and replayed the video, Bennett barely repeated anything. Oh well, it's still cute.



And I'm sure you can't make it out in that original video on the screen, but if you have crazy vision and are wondering why his onesie looks dirty, it's because it IS.

He was "helping" me plant flowers yesterday afternoon. Enough said.

I didn't include the photo that shows off his newly skint knees. He and the driveway have had a few battles, and the driveway keeps winning. Especially tonight. He fell one good time and opened up one of his scabs from yesterday and actually got blood on me, his pants, my pants... His first trip to the bathtub to rinse an injury. Not fun, but he was a trooper. The (gigantic) bandaid lasted about 10 minutes. I put a new one on before I put him down for the night, but I'm not counting on it being there in the morning. What I am counting on is the sheets being stuck to his knee. Yuck.
