Is it me, or is this just too much?
Josh and I saw this on TV the other night and just looked at each other.
Really? Does he not have more important things to be doing than commercials for George Lopez?
I'm all for having a President that "the people" can relate to, but this is a little much. I don't find it cool or hip or fresh. I find it inappropriate.

Ditto. The first time I saw it, I thought, 'Surely, they're using some stock footage and putting it together to make it look like he's talking to George Lopez.' But of course, that's not the case.
You really have to ask yourself what the purpose of that appearance was. I mean, was he trying to promote Lopez? Was he making a political statement? (If he was, I completely missed it.) Was he just doing this to try (once again) to prove to the people that he's cool and on their level? The people that are dumb enough to buy into him just because now he's a pop icon have already done so. I see no point in this.
I'm not sure I would call it "inappropriate" as much as I would call it "idiotic". What a waste... a disappointing waste...
